More than two dozen former Landscape Architecture students got together on Sept. 15 at Audio Graph Beer Co. to reminisce about their time as students and chat about current projects. The networking event took place ahead of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) 2026 Conference, which was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from Sept. 16 to 18.
The gathering included alumni from the Class of 1982 to 2026 graduates. It also served as the unofficial kickoff of the 50th Anniversary of the UCLA Extension Landscape Architecture Certificate Program in 2027.
Alumni were introduced to the inaugural 50th Anniversary Landscape Architecture Scholarship Fund. Anyone interested in learning more can contact Lydia Randolph, assistant dean of UCLA Extension External Affairs, at lrandolph@unex.ucla.edu.
