UCLA Extension staff set up shop in Little Tokyo on Oct. 11 for CicLAvia – Heart of LA, handing out Bruin-themed fans, pins and stickers while providing information on courses, certificates and events.
Tabling at the annual community gathering is part of an effort by UCLA Extension, which is headquartered in the Historic Core neighborhood of Downtown Los Angeles, to highlight its courses and certificate programs to local learners jogging, riding, biking, skating, running, walking and skateboarding through.
The hundreds of participants who stopped by were provided the opportunity to ask questions through a request for information intake form and peruse the many free UCLAx Open courses across any number of topics included in the nearly dozen academic portfolios that make up UCLA Extension.
