We are proud to be part of the UCLA for Life initiative, a bold reimagining of what it means to learn across a lifetime. Whether you’re returning to the classroom, teaching a new course, supporting our students or exploring what’s next, you are part of a movement that is reshaping education to be more relevant, more inclusive and more connected to the world around us.
This fall, we continue to expand opportunity across Los Angeles and beyond. We are deepening partnerships with industry and community, investing in learner-centered innovation that meets people where they are and launching new programming in UCLA Downtown. In fact, we are opening the Bruin Collaborative at UCLA Downtown – a new space to launch courses, programs, and to engage with the community.
We will continue to work on expanding our access, increasing our academic offerings and providing opportunities for community involvement. Our work, together as students, staff, instructors, alumni and community, is important to the future of UCLA.
As we begin this quarter, I encourage each of you to embrace the possibilities ahead. Engage deeply, ask bold questions, and connect with one another.
